Reiki in Everyday Life Level 1
Reiki has been called “the gentlest and most practical healing therapy.” It is a hands-on, simple and powerful way to relieve pain and suffering. Reiki comforts and heals on many levels - physical, emotional, spiritual, vibrational - and can be used anywhere, any time, by anyone.
Take this class if you:
• Are interested in effective, direct self-healing methods
• Want a non-drug treatment for pain relief & mood support
• Want to find out how Reiki practitioners’ hands get so hot
• Wish to help a loved one who is ill, injured or upset
• Have ever stubbed your toe, bumped your head, had a
headache or backache or felt stressed out
• Are a healer wanting to offer more to your clients
• Have wanted to try Reiki but haven’t gotten around to it
• Have any Reiki levels and want a refresher
Where: 1390 Oak St. #3 (upstairs), Eugene
When: Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 6:30-9:30pm;
Saturday Nov. 15 9:30am-4:30pm
Cost: $125-175 sliding scale

Meditation in Everyday Life: A Class for Women
This class presents basic meditation instruction in Shamatha (calm-abiding) meditation, along with mindfulness and breath practices. Ker will give talks on aspects of Buddhist philosophy relevant to integrating meditation practice and daily life.
Experiential assignments and discussions are also included in the class.
This is a non-religious introduction to meditation and Buddhist ideas.
All levels of experience are welcome. A willingness to commit to a daily meditation practice for 8 weeks is strongly encouraged.
Where: 1390 Oak St. #1 (upstairs), Eugene
When: Tuesday eves 7-9 pm. 8 weeks: September 16 through November 4, 2008
Cost: $120-200 sliding scale ($15-25/week)
Class size is limited; $30-50 nonrefundable deposit holds your spot.
