Counseling and Meditation Services

Counseling - I provide counseling for individuals and groups. I work mainly with people with depression, anxiety and eating disorders, and sexual abuse survivors. The contemplative approach can be beneficial for healing fear, sadness, uncertainty, worry, resistance, anger, pain, distraction and other obstacles to wellness.

Mindfulness Meditation Instruction - I offer classes and retreats in mindfulness-awareness, Shamatha (calm abiding) meditation and Buddhist psychology. I can help you support and refresh your prior meditation practice, or introduce you to meditation if you are a beginner. Check the calendar of events for upcoming classes, or email me.

Reiki - Reiki is a hands-on healing energy modality used for mind-body support, stress relief, relaxation, and health. May be combined with intuitive guidance and/or flower remedies. Clients remain fully clothed. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I also offer classes in Reiki I & II and occasionally Master level classes.

Coaching For Counselors - I give support to counselors and therapists who want to create or enhance their private practices with a focus on what resonates and expresses the counselor's particular vision. I offer assistance with internet and other marketing, web content, materials design, practical advice on developing and running your counseling practice. Speaking & Training - I have many presentations and workshops to offer on stress management, pain reduction, compassion, mindfulness, and topics related to Buddhism and psychology. Fees - For individual counseling and coaching for counselors, $80 per 1 hour session. Reiki is $80 per hour (1.5 hour session recommended). Flower essence consultation is $80 per hour. Rates for groups, workshops and meditation instruction vary. You may pay with cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card (Visa/MC/Discover). I do not take insurance at this time.
